To save myself time in the future, and hopefully other americans/english speakers, I translated a whole list of ingredients, to help when shopping for spices etc in Germany! Enjoy!
allspice- Piment

That list should come in handy when you're here. ;) You'll find turmeric as Kurkuma in the shops.
